The Clear Lake Road Riders Club (The Club) is a non-profit group of motorcycle enthusiasts who work together to better their community, enhance children’s lives, and celebrate the joy of motorcycle riding. The Club promotes social, educational, and recreational activities for members.
The Clear Lake Road Riders Club was incorporated June 18, 1984. Since that day, there has been a dedicated and committed effort by the Club to strive for building a better community and making a difference in the lives of children, near and far.
As a non-profit, we pledge to donate money locally and globally. We make annual donations and support the work of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF). The Club hosts the annual The Christmas Fun Poker Run which helps provide toys and games during the holiday season to children. The Club also donates to various other local charities such as the Lake County Senior Center.
The “Bob Reese Memorial Run” was established in 2002 to honor Bob Reese. At the time of his passing, Bob was the President of the Clear Lake Road Riders. Bob Reese was a big supporter of the “Ride For Kids” . This is a ride that is held every year to honor those children that have had, or are dealing with brain tumors.
All of the proceeds that are raised at the Bob Reese Memorial Run are donated to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. This foundation works diligently in their research to find the cause and cure for brain tumors in children. The Bob Reese Memorial Run is always held the third Sunday in May.
Club Meetings and Rides:
The Clear Lake Road Riders meets on the first Wednesday of the month at Kelseyville Pizza, 5285 State Street, Kelseyville, Ca. 95451. The meeting starts at 7:00 P.M. The members tend to arrive earlier to enjoy one of their favorite meals around 6:00 P.M.
The Road Captain plans monthly rides for members. The rides may be poker runs with other motorcycle clubs, or just a Sunday afternoon ride…after all, we are a social club.
